In 2022, the municipality of Altivole provided support for the filming of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Dune: Part Two’ by Canadian director Denis Villenueve. 
The three-day shoot, which took place in early July, involved 250 people including film crew, location staff and security.
A number of internationally renowned actresses, as well as Villenueve himself, were also present at the location, with Florence Pugh, Charlotte Rampling and Lea Seyodux taking part in the filming at the Memorial.
Specifically, the organisation collaborated with the location manager in the identification and preparation of the set and its management.
After an initial inspection in January in the presence of the set designer Patrice Vermette, Oscar winner for the first chapter of the saga, the municipality began collaborating with the Italian division of Eagle Pictures, with whom it had fruitful discussions with the aim of facilitating the realisation of the project.
For the collaboration, the Municipality received a donation that allowed the creation of the playground in the Don Gnocchi Park area in San Vito di Altivole.
